Dr. Phi BangDr. Phi Bang is a native of South Windsor, Connecticut and attended Trinity College in her home state. After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience, she went on to continue her education at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. While there, she completed clinical training at a variety of locations including Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida, Huntington VA Medical Center in West Virginia, Midwest Eye Clinic in Illinois, and the Illinois Eye Institute. It is at these locations that Dr. Bang was able to treat patients of all ages and acquire experience treating all types of diseases. Dr. Bang is DPA and TPA certified to treat all type of ocular diseases, as well as provide primary care to her patients. Dr. Bang further continues her education by attending optometric lectures and conferences year round.
Dr. Bang is a member of the Georgia Optometry Association, the Greater Atlanta Optometry Association and the American Optometric Association. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and young son.
To Dr. Bang, the best part about being an optometrist is building long lasting relationships with her patients and having the responsibility of helping them take care of their ocular health.
Dr. Bang is fluent in Vietnamese and is also able to perform eye exams in Spanish.
Dr. Jae ChoiDr. Jae Choi is a native of the Chicagoland area, and later attended the University of Hartford. He graduated summa cum laude in only three years and continued his education at the Illinois College of Optometry. While there, Dr. Choi received his disease training at Battle Creek Veterans Administration Medical Center, Perry Point VAMC, and Mid-Florida Eye Center. While at these sites, Dr. Choi saw many patients with glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and hypertensive retinopathy. Dr. Choi also gained extensive contact lens experience at the Illinois Eye Institute and at Mid-Florida Eye. He enjoys challenging contact lens fits using rigid gas permeable lenses and keratoconus lenses.
Dr. Choi is also fluent in Korean for those patients in the Korean community.
In his spare time, Dr. Choi enjoys golf and spending time with his family.
