The doctors at Vinings Eye Care have years of experience in all areas of primary care such as routine eye examinations, contact lens evaluations, treatments and management of ocular diseases, as well as pre-operative and post-operative surgical procedures such as LASIK, PRK, or cataract surgery.

Case History: This is where you will be able to tell the doctor any problems you may be experiencing with your vision or your eyes. The doctors will also go over your ocular history, medical history and medications, and any other problems you may have had with contacts or glasses.

Visual Acuity: A measure of how well you are seeing at both distance and near

Refraction: The clinical test to determine your prescription

Slit Lamp Exam: This examines the external and internal structures of the eye to check for any abnormalities and diseases

Dilation: By opening up the pupil, this test allows the doctors to further evaluate the internal structures to check for diseases such as cataracts and retinal problems.

Retinal photo: By photodocumenting the eye, this will allow the doctors to monitor and follow any changes every year at your annual visit

Tonometry: This test measures the fluid pressure in your eye and guides the doctors in determining your risk for glaucoma
